Every Door Direct Mail lets you send a postcard to every home on the mail routes you choose, with no mailing list and postage of $0.26 a piece for EDDM Retail (since July 12, 2026). This free tool designs your postcard in USPS-eligible sizes and puts the required postage block (indicia) and "Local Postal Customer" line on the mailing side for you, so your mailing is accepted at the Post Office.

How to use it
- Choose a size. All three sizes qualify as EDDM "flats"; a standard 4 × 6 postcard doesn’t.
- Write your offer: a clear headline, one strong offer, a few reasons to choose you, and how to reach you.
- Add a photo of your work, food or team. Your logo and colors come from your Brand Kit.
- Check the mailing side. The indicia sits in the upper right, with "Local Postal Customer" below it, on a white area, as USPS requires.
- Print or save as PDF at the exact card size, and send the file to your printer.
- Estimate your cost with the number of homes and your printing price.
Frequently asked questions
What does the EDDM Retail indicia say?
PRSRT STD, ECRWSS, U.S. POSTAGE, PAID and EDDM RETAIL, in capitals, in a box at least half an inch square, placed at least a quarter inch from the edges. The tool sets this up for you.
How many can I mail?
With EDDM Retail, at least 200 and up to 5,000 pieces per ZIP Code per day, with no permit. Drop them off at the Post Office that serves your routes.
Do I need bleed for printing?
Many printers ask for an extra 1/8 inch of background around the edges. Ask your printer whether they need it, and keep important text away from the edges.
