Make an eye-catching flyer in a few minutes. Start from ready-made wording for a sale, grand opening, event, your services or hiring, then make it your own. Your logo, colors and contact details come from your brand kit. Add a photo, a QR code and, if you like, tear-off tabs with your phone number.

Tips for a flyer that works
- One message per flyer. A flyer for a sale shouldn’t also announce hiring and a new service.
- A headline people can read from across the room: short, clear and specific.
- Say what’s in it for the reader: savings, a free gift, a quick fix, a fun event.
- Make the next step obvious: call, visit, scan or book, with a date if there’s a deadline.
- Use a bright, real photo of your products, work or space rather than generic stock images.
- Keep fine print honest: include limits, dates and conditions for any offer.
Tear-off tabs
Tear-off tabs are the strips along the bottom that people tear off to take your contact details with them. They work well on community boards in coffee shops, libraries, laundromats and grocery stores. Cut along the dashed lines between the tabs, stopping at the line above them, so each tab stays attached until someone takes it.
Always ask permission before posting flyers in businesses, and follow local rules about posting on poles and public property.
Printing your flyer
- Choose Save as PDF.
- In the print window, turn on Background graphics (sometimes called "print backgrounds") so your colors print.
- Print at 100% scale on US Letter paper.
- For brighter colors and a sturdier flyer, use a heavier paper (such as 28 or 32 lb), or send the PDF to a local print shop.
Hiring flyers
If you advertise a job, describe the role and requirements without referring to age, race, sex, religion, national origin, disability or other protected characteristics. Our "Now hiring" quick start includes an equal opportunity statement. See our guide to hiring your first employee.
Your privacy
The flyer maker runs entirely in your browser. Your wording, photo and details are never uploaded to Advanton.
