Apple rolls out an update for the latest iOS 12 with bug-fixes for iPhone “XS” and “XS Max”. The iOS 12.0.1 update was released on Monday after users had complaints about their devices not getting charged when connected to a lightning cable, not displaying subtitles in video apps and making Bluetooth unavailable.
The latest software update is said to resolve the issue that could cause iPhone ‘XS’ devices to rejoin a Wi-Fi network at 2.4GHz instead of 5GHz, as per the company’s update description.
The iOS 12.0.1 update is now available for the users to download.
Apple has also rolled out a similar update recently for the WatchOS 5 to fix the charging issue and activity-related problems that some users had reported.
The company has officially introduced its 2018 line-up of iPhone Models and Apple Watch at an even in event in California earlier in September this year.
Apple had confirmed earlier that it will be introducing an update to the iOS 12. The beta version was released in July this year.
Although this was specifically for the developers, users can also download this preliminary version through Beta Software Upgrade.
